Lucas Perry

Lucas has long been interested in the interplay of science, spirituality, and technology. From 2015 to 2022 he worked on existential risk reduction at the Future of Life Institute, where he helped run conferences, open letters, grant programs, and campaigns on AI safety as well as synthetic biology and nuclear weapons risk. Lucas also hosted the Future of Life Institute Podcast and helped generate 3.7M+ views on existential risk content, exploring a range of ethical, epistemological, and ontological issues with leading thinkers like Yuval Noah Harari, Sam Harris, David Chalmers, Avi Loeb, and Stuart Russell. He is currently the host of the Mu podcast, where he explores metaphysics, non-duality, and awakening with guests like Bernardo Kastrup, Federico Faggin, Rupert Spira, and Loch Kelly.
